BOOKS BY E.P. ROSE

In her seventies, Elizabeth laid down her sculptor’s tools and turned fully to writing. Her first book, Poet Under a Soldier’s Hat, began with her father’s memoirs of British Colonial India. What started as simple transcription soon became a full transformation.

She taught herself to write the way she once taught herself to sculpt, by doing. Through critique groups, contests, and endless revision, she shaped her voice and honed her craft. To date, she has published six award-winning books, with more in the works. She is also a prolific short story writer and poet, and can occasionally be seen reading at open mics around Santa Fe, New Mexico.
