SCULPTURE

Elizabeth worked as a professional sculptor for over three decades, exhibiting widely in the U.S., U.K., Canada, and Australia. After moving from London to New Mexico in 1986, she discovered sculpture through a chance class and was soon showing her work on Canyon Road in Santa Fe.

Her early sculptures were brightly colored, cut and folded steel figures, often with kinetic elements. Later she turned to more tactile forms in clay and bronze, including vessels, wall reliefs, and abstracted figures, large and small. Simplicity came first, expression always before detail.

Liz’s work has been featured in the San Francisco Examiner, Houston Chronicle, Albuquerque Journal, and the Sunset Western Garden Book, and appeared in public installations in Santa Fe. Her sculptures are part of museum, private, and corporate collections internationally.
